This is the original laminated title panel used in 1982 when The History Lesson: Self as Image, also known as Remodelling Photo History, was published for the very first time. It was reproduced in the May/June issue of Screen magazine.

Terry Dennett is shown on holiday on the beach, whilst Jo Spence is shown at home reading a book on fairytales, coinciding with her time at Polytechnic writing her thesis on Cinderella and fairtyales.
