In this image, Margaret Thatcher is waving out of a car window the evening following her defeat against the then Labour government. This image has white paint and pen framing Thatcher's face to mark the cropped image to that would be used in press publications. Additionally, on the side there is there is a press note in black that reads, '69'. An attached caption on the reverse further explains the image: '(LON-3_ LONDON.MARCH 29 (AP)- THATCHER TOPPLES GOVERNMENT-British opposition leader Mrs. Margaret Thatcher smiles and waves as she leaves the House of Commons Wednesday night after successfully defeating Prime Minister Callaghan's Labour government on a vote of censure.
