This image is of Margaret Thatcher holding a caricature of herself on her 52nd birthday. The image is framed with pencil and white and black paint to prepare a cropped image for would be press publication. There is also a small press note on the left of the image, which reads, '80'.

An attached caption on the reverse further explains:

'(NY9) BLACKPOOL, England, Oct. 14--BIRTHDAY GIRL--Britain's Conservative Party leader Margaret Thatcher holds up a caricature of herself given to her on her 52nd birthday at the party's conference in Blackpool, England, Thursday. (AP Wirephoto) (crb51150str) 1977.on the reverse, the photograph has a typed label that reads, 'Thatcher Margaret'. Over the label, in pencil, it is numbered, '23'.

On top of the label, the photograph is date stamped, 'OCT 14 1977 E'.

An additional stamp on the reverse reads, 'OTHER'.

Lastly, the reverse has a barcode sticker numbered, 'AFV-878-BS'.
