From the edition of 5.
The photographers have explained:
"This imposing Art Deco building, formerly the Royal Arsenal Co-operative (RAC'S) department store, served as a Hindu temple before priests were evicted and sacred deities seized during a raid following a dispute with the landlord. A new proposal suggested the building be reincarnated as a mixed-use development incorporating a hotel, shops and student accommodation. Presumably the murals of pastoral scenes were in place to keep passers-by happy while the building lay derelict. This has become a noticeable trend in the UK as more and more shops and businesses close."
