"Vanity Village is a chalet park in Leysdown-on -Sea. Kent, an area we explored for an Art at the Centre commission. The Isle of Sheppey is teeming with sheep (hence the name) and chalet parks. The security arrangements make some of the latter appear more like prison camps than holiday parks. We were particularly intrigued by the name of this one but have no idea of its origins."
