From the edition of 5.

The photographers have explained:

"We've been photographing the changing face of Liverpool and Merseyside (Jan's native territory) over the years, recording dereliction, regeneration and everything in between. Edge Lane is a busy main road running from the M62 to the city, a gateway to Liverpool's shops and visitor attractions. The controversial Edge Lane project has led to the compulsory purchase and demolition of many fine old houses to make way for new homes and businesses. We were roaming around photographing boarded up houses when we got caught in a torrential rainstorm followed by a beautiful rainbow which ended between a tin roofed youth centre and the last remaining house on a piece of derelict waste ground. We like to think it's a symbol of hope."
