'This picture includes Temple Garden on the left, behind the white ship HQS Wellington, and the new Lloyds building on the right, behind Blackfriars Bridge. The black and white ships are Chrysanthemum and President, both due to be decommissioned. My grandfather was a gunnery instructor on the President at the end of the Second World War. I took the picture just after sunset to see how detailed the moon would be on a straight print.' Paul Barkshire.
