'This was a road in Roman Londinium. In the distance is St. Paul's Cathedral and on the left Ye Old Watling pub. Only photographs taken in the City of London are captioned London. Places outside the City of London in Greater London are captioned with the local name. Because the City of London is changing so rapidly I often photograph there. The Guildhall Library buys nearly all the pictures I take of the City' Paul Berkshire.
