The portrait is the fourth sitting for her at the museum since 1975. She is now second to Winston Churchill who modelled thirteen times. Beneath her name, the reverse has four date stamps. The earliest date stamp is for, 'FEB 17 1988 E'. The latest is for, 'NOV 26 1990 E'.
Also underneath Margaret Thatcher's name, is the penciled number, '-82'.
Additionally, the reverse has been stamped twice with the label, 'OTHER'.
Furthermore, on the reverse, there is a barcode sticker numbered, 'AFV-974-BS'.
Lastly, there appears to have been an additional attached sticker that has since been removed.
