Dafydd Jones has explained about this picture: "I didn't include it in my final edit of Oxford dining clubs for The Sunday Times magazine in 1980. But when I came across the old print of it again after 35 years of photographing people at parties I realised that I'd never seen anyone else with quite such a horrific expression."
