The photographers have explained:

"Herne Bay was voted the best place to live in England - or maybe Kent - when we took The Caravan Gallery there to appear at Herne Bay Festival. We particularly enjoyed photographing the town's idiosyncratic range of shops, services and amusement arcades including the exquisitely named Fatal Attraction Bridal Centre. We had a sneaking suspicion that its days were numbered and were sad to confirm this on a subsequent visit."
