Stack is one of Helen Sear's major works. As with Caetera Fumus , also in The Hyman Collection, it was made for her solo exhibition "...the rest is smoke" commissioned by Arts Council Wales Cymru yn Fenis / Wales in Venice to represent Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2015.
