I am very grateful to the wonderful team here at the Centre for British Photography. Becky Martin, Saray Garcia Alvarez, Jarelle Francis, Selin Sari, and Jess Davies - thank you for all that you have done to make the Centre such a success.
Over the last few months its been very special to see the public’s enthusiasm for our exhibitions and events. We’ve had an incredible response from visitors; amazing reviews in the press and wonderful support from the photographers. We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of visitors, a tribute to the quality of photography in Britain and, no doubt, helped by the fact that all our exhibitions are free.
Incredibly since January we have staged 18 shows here at the Centre, big and small, as well as a major exhibition of women photographers for the public programme of Photo London.
